The first modern olive processing plant was established in Sakobo village of Sighnagi Municipality. The event was attended by the Prime Minister. The plant was constructed as a result of cooperation between the company "Georgian Olive" and the Agricultural Project Management Agency, within the frames of Program on Processing and Storing of the Agricultural Products (345 800 USD).
